Rich Benvin’s leadership brings together an elite team of seasoned professionals including Bill Decker, Dane Christensen, and Drew Foerster, with whom he’s collaborated on multiple ventures. Together, they’re laying the foundation for Blockchain Bob’s ecosystem: launchpads, DEXs, games, NFTs, and a powerful educational hub for the next generation of crypto pioneers.
Rich Benvin began his career in digital marketing back in the 90s after he bought a website from fellow Blockchain Bob founder Dane Christensen. Since then, he has become a seasoned entrepreneur and digital marketing expert, who’s been shaping the online world for over two decades. As the creator of Blockchain Bob, he’s combining education, entertainment, and the Wild West spirit to help onboard the masses into the world of crypto through a learn-to-earn platform, animated videos, a fun token economy ($BOB), and a growing online community.
Over the course of Rich’s illustrious career, he has lead the launch of a DotCom start-up Absolute Authority (along with Dane Christensen), served as Marketing Director at www.handy.de in Hamburg, Germany managing partnerships with Microsoft, Yahoo and eBay, operated Mass Density, Inc., a full-service digital solutions company, and served as the CEO of 3D Printing Channel with Bill Decker, where he created a media network of over 30 3D Printing web properties.
Prior to his move into digital marketing, Rich was a world-ranked professional tennis player for several years, and he continues to coach elite players to this day, having coached top 10 world-ranked players.
Dane Christensen made his start in the Web industry back in ‘95 when he cracked open a book named The World Wide Web Unleashed, transformed it into a seminar named the ABC’s of the Internet and a series of workshops, and founded MentorNet – The Internet Living Center in San Francisco, CA.
Entirely self-taught (except for one three-day training in Cold Fusion), Dane mastered building websites with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, then building apps on the LAMP stack, then managing web servers, then web analytics, SEO, Search Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Marketing Automation, and pretty much every other skill in the digital space.
After teaching people about the wonders and potential of the Web, Dane was right in the middle of the DotCom Boom (and bust) along with his long-time collaborator, Rich Benvin, after which he began his 25 year career working primarily for Silicon Valley high tech start-ups. In between jobs, Dane has served countless clients ranging from mom-and-pop ecommerce shops to fortune 500 companies, earning over $200K on Upwork while earning Expert-Vetted status and a 100% Job Success rate.
While Dane’s technical skills are impressive, he considers his greatest strengths to be his strategic vision and creativity. He intends to bring all of these talents to bear on the Blockchain Bob project.
